A growing private credit fund manager, managing an existing Luxembourg domiciled credit platform is seeking a Junior Fund Accountant to join its lean finance team. This is a hands-on role within an entrepreneurial environment, offering broad exposure across fund operations, deal activity, and investor processes. The manager is seeking to grow the platform, providing excellent development opportunities and the chance to take on increasing responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Principal and interest reconciliations across a portfolio of private credit investments
- Preparation of management fee calculations, and invoicing
- Assisting with the investor drawdown and distribution processes
- Support credit facility monitoring and utilisation
- Maintenance of loan amortised cost models
- Maintenance of the loan database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
- Maintenance of fund performance metrics and track record data for internal and external use
- Contribute to investor reporting, including quarterly and ad hoc requests
- Stakeholder coordination in relation to fund administrators; loan servicers; and various other internal and external parties
Requirements
- Newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Prior fund accounting experience is essential, ideally within private credit or alternative assets
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable working with financial models and large datasets
- Solid understanding of reconciliations and fund flows
- Ability to operate effectively in a small team, taking ownership and initiative
- Understanding of fund structures and governing documents. Exposure to Luxembourg fund structures is advantageous, but not a requirement
