Investor Relations (IR) at ESR Europe is responsible for both existing investor communication and capital raising to support the growth of the platform. IR operates under the Fund Management team, which manages the financial and operational aspects of the Value Add and Core+ real estate funds. Key functions include investor reporting, fund governance, compliance, treasury management, and tax compliance.
As an intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the team with administrative tasks, data management, and investor communications. Additionally, you will assist in business development and capital raising efforts, including CRM management, roadshow and event planning, and market research. The intern will also participate in marketing initiatives and collaborate with a PR agency. The role will begin with a focus on establishing the foundational aspects of fund structure and capital formation. As you progress, there will be opportunities to take on more client‑facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Own the monitoring of investor inboxes, logging and addressing queries in a timely manner.
- Assist in drafting responses to investor queries under guidance.
- Oversee IR correspondence, ensuring timely reporting and proactive communication with the Fund Controller, asset management and finance teams.
- Support the planning and coordination of investor events, including AGMs and advisory committees.
- Prepare meeting minutes after Advisory Committee meetings, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Ensure the investor database is up-to-date and assist in managing users on the Investor Portal.
- Help with maintaining investor CRM System, ensure accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in organising roadshows and investor meetings, ensuring detailed follow‑up and pipeline management.
- Ensure proper filing and access to key fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with PR agency and internal regarding press releases, deal announcements, to ensure branding alignment and share key updates from Europe.
- Assist with updating the website to align with the latest business focus and portfolio.
- Assist in updating fund performance statistics and marketing materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper storage of key records, including KYC.
- Assist in operational improvements across client reporting, investor onboarding, and communication platforms.
- 1–2 years of experience in a client-facing role within the real estate or related sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Organised, proactive, and willing to learn about real estate and investment management.
- Able to work on a variety of tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues where needed.
- Have an enthusiastic and tenacious approach with a strong commitment to learning.
