Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Salary: £50,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability. Contract: Approximately 5-month placement to cover the current Registered Manager’s leave. Location: N11 4 area. About the Home: * Latest Ofsted inspection in 2025 rated Good. * Currently supporting two children, with capacity for a third. * Full staff team in place, with potential for further recruitment. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Children’s Home Manager to lead a well-performing residential home during a temporary management placement. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the day-to-day running of the children’s residential home, ensuring the safety, welfare and development of all children in placement. * Maintain high standards of care and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant children’s homes legislation. * Provide effective leadership, guidance and support to the staff team, promoting a positive and child-centred culture. * Ensure care plans, risk assessments and placement plans are regularly reviewed and accurately maintained. * Promote positive outcomes for children, supporting their emotional, behavioural, educational and social development. * Work collaboratively with social workers, local authorities, families and other professionals involved in each child’s care. * Monitor staff performance, oversee supervision and training, and identify any additional recruitment or development needs. * Maintain accurate records and ensure the home is prepared for inspections, audits and quality assurance reviews. * Ensure the home continues to provide a safe, nurturing and stable environment for children
