Do you want a job where no two days are the same? Are you interested in developing and fostering relationships with new and existing customers to enhance customer awareness and increase usage of the team’s frameworks? We are looking for support to the Place & Environment Team, acting as first port of call for all enquiries from customers, suppliers and colleagues.
About the Role
- Supporting the team in all activity designed to build, develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers.
- This will include supporting customers with guidance and advice on using frameworks and benchmarking pricing.
- Customer visits, virtual customer meetings & presentations will be required where appropriate.
- Maintain regular contact with customer facing and operational teams to ensure customers are receiving high levels of customer service and that outstanding issues are dealt with to the satisfaction of customers.
- Foster relationships with key suppliers to maximise awareness of the market and develop business opportunities, ensuring there is a consistent link between framework suppliers and customers to increase ESPO framework exposure and sign posting back to ESPO.
About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Relevant qualification and experience in the following areas;
- Experience of working in a customer service/sales environment and experience of public sector procurement, being able to provide introductory information & support to customers.
- Experience of handling customer enquiries on the telephone and by email with excellent communication skills and a good standard of oral and written English language.
- Able to use initiative to shape the role and take responsibility for own work and able to manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office, including Excel to produce reports, graphs and chart.
- Experience of working with large amounts of data to produce analysis and reports.
- Experience of meeting with customers and/or suppliers in person or virtually including giving presentations.
- Experience of organising and co-ordinating events or similar activities including webinars.
- Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management system.
