About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise-scale marketing automation solutions. This is a strategic, leadership-oriented role requiring a blend of architectural vision, technical depth, and delivery oversight within the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Marketing Cloud development and campaign execution, along with proven experience in API integrations and platform migrations from other marketing automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Leadership
- Act as Solution Architect / Delivery Lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud engagements
- Define architecture, technical strategy, and best practices
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable solutions
- Provide technical leadership to developers and campaign teams
- Own solution governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Architect and implement solutions across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder
- Design and oversee complex customer journeys and automation frameworks
- Support campaign configuration and functional delivery
- Provide hands-on development when required
- Design and implement API integrations (REST/SOAP) with external systems
- Architect data models and data flows across platforms
- Lead migration initiatives from other marketing automation platforms to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability
Required Experience & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in marketing automation, including significant Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Delivery Lead
- Strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Journey Builder
- Automation Studio
- Contact Builder
- Email Studio
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
- Exposure to multi-cloud Salesforce implementations
