Quality Assurance/ Tester

Scope of Work

1. Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and user stories.
2. Conduct comprehensive testing under both functional and non-functional scopes.
3. Review, develop, and align test plans, test cases/data, scenarios, and strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. Execute manual and automated testing utilizing Tricentis TOSCA or equivalent tools, including preparation of relevant test data as required.
5. Create and maintain automated test scripts.
6. Participate in, support, and review functionality and technical testing, including performance, security, interface integration, and usability assessments.
7. Evaluate test reports and outcomes provided by the Authority\’s appointed contractors for the Authority’s systems by:
   1. Reviewing and understanding vendors\’ source code prior to deployment.
   2. Supporting and reviewing on-site Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
   3. Facilitating and providing support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinating user training sessions.
8. Collaborate and coordinate with system stakeholders and the Authority’s appointed contractors throughout the testing process.
9. Assess testing procedures and recommend improvements by analyzing current methodologies, identifying areas for enhancement, and suggesting process optimization and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Preference will be given to candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer or electronics engineering, information technology, or related fields.
2. Having certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional or Certified Software Quality Analyst is seen as an additional advantage.
3. Practical experience with application support and maintenance for government public services is desirable.
4. Candidates should possess strong analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and solid interpersonal skills, including tact, presentation, and active listening.
5. It is advantageous to have experience:
   1. Automated testing tools like Tricentis TOSCA or comparable alternatives; and
   2. Performing tests for government public service applications.
6. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—as well as effective presentation abilities are required for professional interaction across all organizational levels.
