Espire Infolabs is seeking an experienced Senior/Lead QA Automation Engineer to drive quality strategy, define automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise applications. The role requires strong hands-on automation skills along with leadership in test planning, execution, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the test automation strategy and framework across projects
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API applications
- Lead automation implementation for functional, regression, integration, and smoke test suites
- Review test cases, automation code, and ensure best practices and standards
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to embed quality into CI/CD pipelines
- Drive shift-left testing, test coverage, and quality metrics
- Perform and oversee manual testing where automation is not feasible
- Mentor and guide junior QA/Automation engineers
- Participate in sprint planning, release planning, and quality sign-off activities
- Own defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing, with strong focus on Automation Testing
- Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript / C# (at least one)
- Strong experience in API automation (RestAssured, Postman, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Test Framework Design, OOPs, and Design Patterns
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience in performance testing (JMeter or similar)
- Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce / HubSpot / Dynamics (if relevant)
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
