Purpose
We need an IPS Data and Claims Officer to work alongside the IPS Service Manager to support the delivery of one of the Shaw Trust Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Services. The aim of the service overall is to contribute to the Shaw Trust vision of a society in which everyone has the opportunity for employment, inclusion and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary focus on delivering the required improvements to operational delivery processes and systems in order to ensure full compliance with the Trust's contractual obligations.
- Secondary focus on optimising the collection and dissemination of management information and service delivery across the organisation.
- Coordination of required data for wider stakeholders and commissioners.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ/SVQ level 2 or above or equivalent experience.
- Excellent IT skills with ability to use Microsoft Office and databases.
- Experience in using reporting / BI/MI systems.
- Experience with document and quality control.
- Experience in meeting deadlines and objectives when managing conflicting demands.
- Experience in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, including fidelity to the IPS Model.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use initiative when required and take a problem solving approach to work tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
- Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service skills.
- Understanding of our client group and the barriers our clients may face.
Location
You will be based at home, with some travel to meetings and other events.
