We are excited to recruit a Support Worker to join our friendly team at Queen Alexandra Road Supported Living Service for people on the autism spectrum with complex needs. This role also includes working at two outreach services nearby. We’re looking for someone warm, confident, and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to person-centred care. In this role you will help to create a positive environment where everyone can thrive. We’re looking for someone proactive, supportive, and passionate about making a difference. The post requires a high level of commitment and flexibility towards service delivery, and you should be able to contribute to all aspects of the service.

- Have experience supporting people with autism and/or related conditions, however experience is not essential.
- Would be confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Can demonstrate a positive and respectful approach at all times.
- Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Hold a relevant qualification or are willing to work towards one.
Responsibilities
In this role you will help to create a positive environment where residents can thrive and receive person-centred care. You will contribute to all aspects of service delivery across the Supported Living Service and two outreach locations, including supporting individuals on the autism spectrum with complex needs.
Qualifications
- Experience with autism and related conditions is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work proactively, be organised, and take initiative.
- Ready to pursue relevant qualifications if not already held.
