ESPA College, North Ryecaters for autistic young people between the ages of 16-25, who are working towards qualifications from Pre-Entry Level to Level 2. We are looking for a suitably qualified individual with teaching experience and/or substantial experience of managing a learning programme. This post is suitable for someone who is looking to develop their career by assisting in the management of a busy and vibrant college site. Knowledge of preparing, delivering and managing programmes for autistic learners is essential.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualities:

  • A thorough understanding of the components of high-quality teaching and learning, ideally gained via their own good and outstanding practice
  • Must be able to work as part of a team – working closely with other members of the College Management and Senior Management whilst supporting both Tutors and LSAs
  • Must be very well organised, motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • A keen solution focused problem solver
  • A commitment to sharing and developing best practice in teaching, learning and assessment
