Are you an experienced cybersecurity sales hunter who knows how to build pipeline, open doors with enterprise clients, and close high-value managed security deals? We're working with a rapidly scaling, high-integrity UK cybersecurity services provider that delivers co-managed security services for mid-market and enterprise organisations. They've recently secured new investment, strengthened their leadership team, and are now ready to bring in a Senior Sales Lead to accelerate growth across the UK.
The Opportunity
This is a "true hunter" role — perfect for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment, wants to build something meaningful, and wins by developing strong relationships with CISOs, Heads of Security, and IT decision-makers. You'll be selling a genuinely differentiated service offering with huge customer appeal: transparent, flexible, and far more collaborative than traditional "black-box" MSSPs. Strong lead-generation support is already in place; you're not starting from scratch — but you are expected to build pipeline, nurture opportunities, and take ownership of your territory.
What You'll Be Doing
- Targeting mid-market & enterprise clients (typically 1,000–10,000 employees).
- Running full 360° enterprise sales cycles — from outreach through to close.
- Leading conversations with CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors & senior security stakeholders.
- Selling a blend of recurring managed services (70–80% ARR) + consultancy/penetration testing.
- Using pen-testing & consultancy as fast-turn "door-opening" engagements.
- Leveraging events, networking, social selling & partner ecosystems.
- Building pipeline methodically — understanding this is a long-game, relationship-led sale.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years selling cybersecurity services (SaaS + MSSP strongly preferred).
- Experience selling: SOC, MDR/XDR, SIEM, threat intel, IR or pen-testing.
- Strong track record in regulated sectors: FS, energy, SaaS, education, critical infrastructure.
- Confident engaging C-suite, boards & multi-stakeholder buying groups.
- True hunter mentality — disciplined, proactive, pipeline-driven.
- Stable career history with clear progression (not a "serial job-hopper").
- Experience at an MSSP ideal (Redscan, NCC, Secureworks, Orange Cyberdefence, etc.).
Compensation
Strong commission plan for over achievers. Uncapped commission. Realistic earnings potential well above double OTE for high performers.
Why This Role Stands Out
- A chance to join a high-growth cyber provider at a strategic moment.
- Strong tech credibility + high-quality service delivery = easier selling.
- A leadership team that gets sales and supports long-cycle enterprise hunting.
- A value proposition that beats larger MSSPs on transparency, agility & partnership.
- A supportive environment with SDR, marketing, events & partner-led lead generation already in motion.
- A genuinely exciting opportunity to build a meaningful book of business.
