An opportunity to join a well-established, fast-growing software provider helping organisations modernise how they manage maintenance, assets, and operational performance. This role is ideal for a new business–focused BDM with experience selling into asset-intensive environments, who enjoys consultative sales cycles and working with customers where operational uptime, compliance, and efficiency truly matter.

The company delivers a proven, cloud-based platform used by organisations across manufacturing, engineering, facilities, and operational environments. Their software supports maintenance, asset visibility, work order management, compliance, and reporting — enabling customers to move away from reactive processes and legacy systems toward more proactive, data-driven operations. With a strong customer base, long-term contracts, and a reputation for reliability and service quality, the business is investing further in UK growth. You’ll focus on winning new customers and expanding footprint across organisations with complex maintenance or asset requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and engage new prospects across asset- and maintenance-led sectors
  • Sell into operational and technical decision-makers such as Maintenance Managers, Engineering Leaders, Facilities Managers, Operations Directors, and IT stakeholders
  • Run structured, consultative sales cycles from discovery through to close
  • Position the value of modern maintenance and asset management software around uptime, cost control, compliance, and operational insight
  • Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and account teams to ensure smooth handover and long-term success

You’ll be well supported with marketing activity, sales tools, and internal expertise — but trusted to own your pipeline and outcomes.

What You Bring
  • 3–6+ years’ experience in B2B software or IT services sales
  • Strong alignment with CMMS, CAFM, EAM, asset management, or operational software environments
  • Proven new business capability and comfort selling into technical and operational buyers
  • Confident running discovery-led, value-based sales conversations
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely with client travel
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Established product with real market credibility
  • Clear demand driven by compliance, efficiency, and operational modernisation
  • Competitive base salary, car allowance, and achievable OTE
  • Supportive sales environment with realistic targets
  • Long-term opportunity within a stable, growing SaaS business
