Design Support Specialist
This role will be part of a focused team that is committed to ensuring the design, construction, and operational quality of our distribution networks. You will take ownership of key administrative activities that support the performance of our team of Design Engineer Specialists.
Key Accountabilities
The Design Support Specialist\βs primary role is to take ownership of key administrative activities that support the performance of our Design Team and help ensure we deliver in line with the SLAs in place. In addition, they play an important part in supporting our ambition to continue to improve the quality of service we offer to our customers (B2B & B2C).
In this role you will need to communicate effectively and be confident at building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Interaction and collaboration with other functions within the business will be key to your success in this role.
As an individual contributor you must be comfortable with working independently. There will be multiple workstreams to support and you must be able to effectively organise your workload to ensure priorities are met.
Responsibilities Include:
- Offering Vital Administrative Support including responding to customer queries, populating industry standard templates, maintaining trackers, and validating documentation in line with industry standards.
- Supporting Project Coordination within Design Team by capturing actions generated in meetings, tracking completion of those actions, and sharing updates with relevant stakeholders.
- Providing Excellent Customer Service during all correspondence with customers (B2B/B2C) via email, telephone and in meetings.
- Communicating with Internal Stakeholders to help provide visibility of service delivery within the Design Team, attend meetings to capture information that should be cascaded to wider team and \βactively\β participate in wider Operations meetings to ensure an understanding of our strategic goals and current performance is gained.
- Coordinating Performance Data which may involve completing data entry tasks, collecting data from internal systems and populating reports that are used to measure performance of KPIs against the SLAs that are in place.
