The role of EV Account Lead is to lead programme delivery of several high-profile EV Charge Point operator accounts. Be accountable for programme and project management processes and outcomes, coordinating with and communicating across all stakeholders in a timely and transparent way.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead client programmes of work delivering desired outcomes of Quality, Cost, Service, Delivery, Communication & Safety.
- Lead end-user engagement on delivery, communicating programme status, articulating, and tracking action requirements.
- To manage a team of Programme Planners ensuring each member has clear targets, objectives, and responsibilities.
- Progressively monitoring their individual performance against the agreed criteria and conducting formal appraisals.
- Be accountable for client ‘Point of Connection’ (POC) process(es) - working with team members and other stakeholders (internal and external) to maximise efficiency and favourable outcomes for client power requirements.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all processes (inc programme and project management processes) deployed by the Delivery team.
- Support and contribute towards the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of I&C Delivery team reporting, KPIs and governance.
- Identify and develop best practice processes, leveraging technology and innovation to meet end-user goals of programme acceleration, whilst delivering a lean and efficient capability for ESP.
- Ensuring all programmes have the necessary project plans and controls in place to effectively track project progress and critical path activities, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place to deal with risks and issues identified.
- Ensuring all accounts have the necessary and correct resource allocated to deliver on the key objectives.
- Ensuring all necessary reporting is in place to efficiently track progress and performance against agreed targets.
- Develop and manage an effective partnering culture with our clients and supply chain to ensure collaborative effort is applied across all projects.
- Liaise internally with all relevant departments (Pricing, Commercial, Legal, Ops and Accounts) on the delivery of each programme.

Mandatory competencies/skills
- Customer centric approach with a track record of exceeding customer expectations and maintaining high quality relationships.
- Proven programme and project management skill set - with evidence of working at volume and tempo.
- Highly developed senior stakeholder management skills and able to communicate clearly with customers.
- Experienced in coordinating stakeholders and delivering against project and business targets.
- Demonstrable process development & improvement skills.
Highly desirable competencies/skills
- Bachelors / master’s degree, MSP, APMP PMP, or Prince 2 accreditation.
- Good knowledge of power distribution and HV connections.
- Experience in engineering based industry, construction management or similar.
- Client-side consultancy experience.
