HR Business Partner – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

As the HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will serve as a professional resource for HR guidance. Your responsibilities will include analysing metrics, resolving employee relations issues, and collaborating with management to enhance work relationships and productivity. You will also support the Human Resources Director (HRD) on various HR/culture/change and transformation projects and both strategic and operational initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Providing comprehensive HR support for the full spectrum of the employee lifecycle, with a key emphasis on employee relations and support
  • Supporting on ER, grievance disciplinaries, performance management, absence management, flexible working requests, maternity/paternity leave
  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders, coaching and mentoring managers across a wide range of people issues, including performance management, succession planning etc
  • Driving forward continuous improvement, updating policies and procedures as well as undertaking cyclical HR activities such as reward and performance reviews
  • Support on key projects and achieving the HR strategy, specifically in relation to culture, engagement and retention.
  • Provide appropriate reports from the HR System for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training.
  • Managing Employee and D&I Survey process, providing full analysis followed by action plan

Person Specification

  • Strong track record and time served in a generalist HR experience, particularly in employee relations and performance management, to be able to advise and guide on a range of employment issues
  • Strong level of employment law and legislative knowledge
  • The ability to build solid relationships, with confident and articulate communication skills at all levels of stakeholders
  • Excellent coaching and influencing skills, being able to articulate best practice HR successfully
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under own initiative
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Qualified to a minimum of CIPD 5 or similar experience essential
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration desirable
  • Able to establish credibility and build department accountability quickly
  • Proactive attitude and confident manner
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract maternity cover.
