Working for a creative agency to the East of London, the Head of Projects is responsible for the successful delivery of all event build projects, built in-house. The candidate will lead and develop the Project Management team, ensuring profitable projects are tendered, won and fulfilled on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard. The Head of Projects has a keen eye for new and potential business, as well as skills in cultivating productive existing client relationships. Responsibilities Project Management Understand the complete scope of work for all projects. Take briefs from concept and quoting stage through to full project delivery Monitor and maintain a high level of finish and detail Manage several projects simultaneously Take the lead and own customer escalation issues through to conclusion Mentor new team members in all aspects of the companies methodologies Ensure compliance with company H&S requirements Meet and exceed client expectations to drive repeat business Develop internal processes Liaise with our craftspeople to complete work on time and to the highest possible standard. Track budget spend and project margin with adjustments made where required. Contribute to business development. Identifying opportunities for the company to extend their service to new and existing clients. Onsite Manage the on-site schedule Be the lead liaison between the company and the client/venue Ensure strong production values in finish and safety Be an ambassador for the company at all times Provide support for team members on site Post Delivery Take the lead on providing feedback to stakeholders Prompt client and internal debriefs Health and Safety Promote Health and Safety best practice and ensure compliance to all procedures and disciplines. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience of project management and delivery of staging, build and events projects including tech within the events industry. Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support the wider team as it grows. Possess a positive, proactive attitude with a creative flair for problem-solving whilst working to changing timelines and priorities. Regularly work with autonomy on various projects, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Strong organisational ability to manage various workloads/projects Ability to professionally manage teams whilst out on site. Managing financial quotes and keeping to budgets. Highly self-motivated, with a commercial approach to managing projects. Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and suggest solutions, considering all the various departments of the business. Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to provide solutions
