Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting for a Supporting Applications Lead to join the ICT Department on a permanent, full-time basis from April 2026 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). This is a permanent, full-time role, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a salary of £43,720. The role is based across both sites at Ravelston and Queensferry Road, with opportunities to work remote in discussion with the direct line manager.

The Purpose Of The Role: To ensure the school's applications are effectively integrated, maintained, and aligned with user needs, delivering a seamless experience for parents, staff, and pupils. Analysing and understanding system needs by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to inform application strategy and delivery. Overseeing the application architecture and roadmap to ensure future-proofed solutions, starting with the implementation of a new MIS. Ensuring applications are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and secure, particularly those supporting teaching and learning.

Eligibility: ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate must demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
