The postholder will teach Biology to all year groups up to Advanced Higher and contribute to the School’s extra-curricular programme. The teacher will plan curriculum, assessment and progression, develop schemes of work, create resources and maintain safe practice. A commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, and a genuine passion for delivering engaging, well-structured Biology lessons are essential.
Qualifications:
- GTCS registered or eligible for registration
- Relevant subject-specific teaching degree
- Passion for Biology and willingness to collaborate with the department to build a successful subject offering for all Senior School students, including contribution to extra-curricular activities and science programmes.
Eligibility:
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants cannot apply for a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate must have an alternative right to work in the UK.
