Health Care Assistant - Complex Care | Children & Young People

We are a specialist complex care provider supporting children and young people with complex clinical conditions in their own homes across Sussex. Our care is personal, unhurried and centred around trust, dignity and clinical excellence.

Due to growth, we are looking for compassionate, reliable Health Care Assistants to join our close-knit care team.

The Role

You will be supporting children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes, working closely with families and a multidisciplinary clinical team.

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • Clinical tasks (training provided) such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, epilepsy management
  • Supporting routines, play, learning and development
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in condition
  • Providing reassurance and confidence to families

We carefully match staff to clients to ensure continuity, confidence and safety.

What We’re Looking For

We’re more interested in the right values and attitude than years of experience. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience as a Health Care Assistant, Support Worker or similar, with complex clinical care experience
  • A calm, compassionate and professional approach
  • Reliability and commitment to your clients
  • Willingness to drive to your clients' home (specifics can be discussed at interview stage)
  • The right to work in the UK

Full paid training, shadow shifts and ongoing clinical support are provided.
