Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per year. Sleep ins paid at £60.00 per sleep. Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.
Hours: 173 hours per month, 2 on 4 off rota pattern to include sleep nights. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.
Darwin Farm is a beautiful 2 bedded home offering crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care. We are looking for a nurturing and dedicated on rota Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in the day to day running of the homes. Our young people receive the highest quality care and support, offering consistency, emotional wellbeing and personal growth in a nurturing and supportive environment. We also offer educational places in our schools where our young people can engage in a more personalised education plan to help them thrive and reach their full potential. Essential requirements for a Deputy Manager at Esland:
- A minimum 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home (essential)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
- A full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
