Esland is looking for compassionate and committed Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our dedicated teams across our homes. Young people enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities, including:
- Outdoor experiences: Trips to parks, countryside walks, sports activities; rollerblading, cycling, bowling, and community outings
- Experiences & days out: Cinema visits, leisure centres, virtual reality experiences; shopping trips, local attractions, and special events
- Indoor activities: Baking and cooking; gaming, movies, and board games; arts and crafts, puzzles, chess; coding, creative play, and hobbies tailored to individual interests

What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality care and emotional support, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people
- Build positive, trusting relationships through consistency, empathy, and resilience
- Work as part of a professional team in a 365-day service, following structured rotas and long shifts (7:30am–11pm), including sleep-in duties
What You’ll Earn
- Annual salary: £34,402 – £35,025 (based on £13.45–£13.75 per hour + 8 sleep-ins per month, dependent on qualifications)
- Pay rate effective from 1st April 2026
- Opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional shifts
What You’ll Need
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Aged 21+ with the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- Previous experience in childcare or the wider care sector
