Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per year plus sleep ins paid at £60.00 per sleep. Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.
Hours: 173 hours per month - shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep in’s. Rotas given in advance. We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work.

The Grigg is a beautiful solo home set in the Shropshire countryside near Newport offering crisis intervention and trauma informed therapeutic care. Our young person receives highest quality care and support with all their educational and emotional needs as well as engaging in their favourite hobbies and interests. We can offer educational places in our schools where our young people can engage in a more personalised education plan to help them thrive and reach their full potential.

Essential requirements for a Children’s Home Deputy Manager:
- A minimum of 12 months supervisory experience in a children’s residential care home
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- A full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
- Successful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
