About the Role
Esland Doncaster School is a brand new specialist provision opening in September 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive School Administrator to help us bring our vision to life. This is a rare opportunity to join a school right from the beginning, helping to shape systems, build relationships and create a warm, efficient and professional front‑of‑house experience for students, staff and visitors alike.

You will be one of the very first team members to join our new school. Your organisation, communication and positivity will play a huge part in establishing the smooth running of the school from day one. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, the voice at the end of the phone, and the person who keeps our busy school office running like clockwork. What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of a brand‑new school office
- Creating a warm, welcoming front‑of‑house experience for all visitors
- Supporting pupil admissions, referrals and key administrative processes
- Helping to organise meetings, prepare paperwork and coordinate events
- Managing databases and school records with accuracy and efficiency
- Handling enquiries by phone, email and in person with professionalism
- Monitoring pupil and staff attendance and supporting reporting processes
- Assisting with ordering supplies, processing payments and liaising with support teams
- Supporting transition processes for pupils joining or leaving the school
- Upholding safeguarding expectations and ensuring confidentiality at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Brilliant organisation and multitasking abilities
- A warm, friendly and professional manner
- Experience in school administration (desirable)
- Experience in SEMH/SEND settings (desirable)
- Confidence with maintaining accurate digital records
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliability, positivity and a can‑do attitude
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:30am‑4:30pm
