Hours: 4 days on, 6 days off (with sleep nights). Service operates 365 days a year; rosters given in advance.

Bly House is a characterful family home based in the suburbs of Burton-Upon-Trent, providing an excellent setting for a therapeutic assessment home. Using a trauma-informed approach, the team provides intervention care that supports emotional healing and personal development for up to two young people at a time.
Over a 12âweek placement, our assessment strategy helps us understand what is truly right for a young person and their needs.
Every placement provides PACE principles, therapeutic care, access to education and the opportunity to participate in an outdoor adventure programme. The work and commitment of our teams helps us determine what support a young person requires and defines their next steps.

Requirements
Experience in a children\âs residential care home (highly desirable).
A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable).
Experience within care, education, mental health support and/or youth activities (essential).
A full UK driving licence (essential).Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions (essential).Values in line with Esland\âs, such as taking a therapeutic, personâcentred approach to childcare (essential).A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities (essential).Applicants must be aged 21 or above (essential).
Successful employment is subject to satisfactory full enhanced disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).
*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of ÂŁ12.75 to ÂŁ13.75 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleepânights per month on average (at ÂŁ60 per sleep night).
