What You'll Do

  • As a Senior Support Worker you'll play a key part in the daily life of our home, leading your team on shift, providing hands‐on care and supporting the young people through their everyday experiences.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families and professionals.
  • Support care plans and help young people achieve their goals.
  • Lead by example and support junior colleagues on shift.
  • Promote a safe, clean and happy home environment.
  • Encourage learning, development and independence in every child.
  • Keep records up to date with care and professionalism.
  • Take part in sleep‐in shifts on a 2‐on, 4‐off rota (with advance notice).

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in residential childcare.
  • Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for transporting young people and attending external meetings).
  • A calm, resilient and compassionate approach to care.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including sleep‐ins.
