Hours: 173 per month (shift pattern 2 days on, 4 days off, sleep in's)

Salary: £35,848.00 to £38,028.00 per annum (including sleep paid at £60 per sleep, hourly rate £13.80 – £14.85 depending on qualification). Opportunities to pick up overtime at enhanced rate.

Role

Provide crisis intervention and trauma‐informed therapeutic care at Blakelow Bank, a solo home near Macclesfield. Support young people in all educational and emotional needs, encourage hobbies and interests, and assist with personalised education plans to help them thrive and reach their full potential.

Essential Requirements

  • A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In‐depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Values in line with Esland (therapeutic, person‐centred approach to childcare)
  • Must be aged 21 or above
