Esland's Grantham School is a specialist setting for children and young people with social, emotional, special educational and mental health needs, supporting ages 8 to 16.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
- Experience of teaching across a range of subjects including PSHE/SMSC development
- A strong understanding of SEN/SEND/SEMH and demonstrable prior experience of working in this sector
- Knowledge of assessment frameworks and progress tracking
- Excellent behaviour management and inclusive teaching strategies
- Knowledge and prior experience of support post-16 pupils approaching the end of full-time education
- An ability to be resilient whilst also maintaining empathy and a supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
