This is a hybrid creative–strategic role for someone who is as comfortable building frameworks as they are crafting ideas, routes, and visual directions. As the Senior Creative Strategist, you will define and develop the strategic and narrative foundations for commercial storytelling — transforming insights, product strategy, and partnership opportunities into world-class creative concepts, campaign platforms, and visually compelling narratives.
What you will do:
- Strategic Narrative Development
- Lead the creation of EFG's commercial master narrative, including the general sales deck and category-specific storytelling frameworks.
- Translate strategic inputs (sales, product, audience insights) into clear thematic narratives and partner value propositions.
- Build narrative structures, storytelling arcs, and positioning statements that elevate EFG's offering.
- Creative Strategy & Concepting
- Develop campaign platforms, idea territories, and conceptual routes that integrate brands authentically into gaming culture.
- Partner with the VP Creative on early creative direction for major pitches and B2B campaigns.
- Generate strategic insights and cultural POVs to fuel ideation and creative development.
- Visual & Art Direction
- Shape early visual routes — including moodboards, brand worlds, and key creative directions.
- Provide art direction to designers, ensuring visuals reinforce the strategic and narrative spine.
- Produce first-pass deck layouts and storytelling structures that express both thinking and tone visually.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work with Sales, Product, Partner Management, and B2B Marketing to align on strategic intent and opportunities.
- Present concepts and strategic frameworks to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Lead the storytelling component of pitches and collaborative workstreams.
- Creative Operations & Enablement
- Build high-level templates, frameworks, and strategic tools used across commercial pitches.
- Support the creation of modular idea libraries and category narratives for re-use.
- Help guide the creative team across opportunities, ensuring strategic coherence and quality.
Who you are:
- 5–8+ years in strategy, creative strategy, or hybrid strategic–creative roles (agency, entertainment, sport, gaming, innovation, or brand).
- Proven ability to turn business or product strategy into emotionally compelling creative narratives.
- Strong visual literacy — able to shape art direction, build moodboards, and create narrative decks.
- Experience crafting big ideas, campaign platforms, and partner integration concepts.
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and navigating multi-team input.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, cultural insights, and creative problem-solving.
- Hands-on deck-building ability (Keynote, Figma, Google Slides) — not a designer, but able to express thinking visually.
- Thrives under pace; able to own multiple workstreams without losing craft or clarity.
We're not looking for a traditional planner. We're looking for a hybrid creative strategist — someone who sees the narrative, shapes the idea, and brings it to life visually.
