The Creative/Copywriter is the conceptual and storytelling craft lead — turning strategic narratives into compelling copy, scripts, brand stories, and activation ideas. They work closely with the Senior Creative Strategist on concept development and with designers on visual alignment, ensuring every idea is expressed with clarity, emotion, and craft. This is a hands-on creative role focused on concepting and writing — not strategy ownership and not stakeholder management.
As a creative copywriter, you will develop the creative concepts, copy, and narrative execution across pitches, B2B marketing, case studies, and partner storytelling — ensuring the work is emotionally resonant and aligned with the strategic direction.
What you will do:
- Concept & Copy Development: Write campaign lines, narratives, partner stories, scripts, and conceptual copy. Develop activation concepts grounded in gaming culture and brand objectives. Turn strategic frameworks into storytelling devices, headlines, taglines, and concept language.
- Creative Execution: Build story-led slides in collaboration with the design team. Produce scripts, short-form content narratives, and voiceover copy for B2B creative. Support the Strategist and VP Creative on creative territories and idea refinement. Work closely with designers to ensure visuals and copy unify into a single creative world. Participate in brainstorms, workshops, and creative reviews. Bring energy and conceptual thinking to pitch teams.
- Craft & Expression: Elevate the narrative voice of the team — shaping tone, clarity, and emotional resonance. Ensure all copy aligns with brand tone of voice and partner positioning. Provide first-pass visualisation support (moodboards, mock AI mockups) where needed.
Who you are:
- 3–6 years as a creative, copywriter, or hybrid concept writer (agency, brand, entertainment, sport).
- Strong writing range: conceptual, narrative, structural, headline, and scriptwriting.
- Proven ability to turn complex ideas into simple, emotive stories.
- Comfortable creating concept decks, but not responsible for strategic narrative building.
- Passion for culture, entertainment, and gaming (plus, not essential).
We’re not looking for corporate writers. We’re looking for conceptual creatives who bring stories to life with clarity and emotional punch.
