We are seeking a highly motivated, commercially minded, and proactive Corporate Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer to kick-start their career within a dynamic, international, and creative environment. You will work directly with the Vice President of Corporate Legal Affairs, gaining hands-on experience across multiple verticals, including corporate governance, board affairs, company law, company secretarial support, IP management – you will also get exposure to the commercial side of the business and support the central procurement function of the business. You will play a vital role in supporting the business's strategic objectives and operations. Responsibilities

  • Conducting legal research and analysis on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple international jurisdictions;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of documents and agreements, including but not limited to; board papers, board minutes, intra-group agreements and policies;
  • Assisting commercial legal team with legal due diligence, risk assessments, contract lifecycle management and improving internal processes;
  • Collaborating closely with the central corporate functions and cross-functional teams including Finance, Technology, People Culture and Sustainability, Travel, Commercial, Product and more;
  • Maintaining and organising templates and legal documentation;
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant legal developments, industry regulations, and best practices impacting our business;
  • Supporting the preparation of internal training and guidance materials;
  • Adhering to all internal governance procedures and ethical guidelines;
  • Participating in broader legal and operational projects across the group.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) undergraduate degree or equivalent academic qualification that meets the entry requirements for postgraduate legal training in the candidate's jurisdiction;
  • Successful completion of the Bar Practice Course (BPC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC), or equivalent professional legal qualification relevant to the candidate's jurisdiction;
  • A qualified and licensed lawyer with approximately 0-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is preferred. However, we also welcome applications from lawyers outside of this range who can demonstrate that they meet the core requirements of the role;
  • Experience of common law jurisdictions is strongly preferred;
  • Previous experience in a law firm or in-house legal team (Company-Commercial, Corporate Secretarial, or commercial law exposure) is a plus;
  • Strong academic record;
  • Excellent legal research and drafting skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), legal research platforms, and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems;
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and professional standards.

This is a remote position and does not require regular attendance at our offices. Occasional international travel may be required to attend team off-sites, esports events, and legal training seminars.
