We’re looking for a commercially-minded New Business Manager to help drive the agency’s next stage of growth. This isn’t a traditional sales role. We want someone who’s hungry, incredibly ambitious, proactive and takes ownership of their work. Someone who’ll unlock the huge opportunity ahead and is motivated by the challenge of achieving our aggressive growth objectives. You’ll work across the entire new business journey – from opening conversations and leading discovery through to shaping solutions, negotiating agreements and winning new clients. Working closely with the Managing Director and specialist teams, you’ll turn opportunities into long‑term partnerships that create value for clients and the agency. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, engaging senior decision-makers, challenging assumptions and guiding prospects towards better outcomes.

What will you be doing?

  • Generate and convert new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, networking and relationship building.
  • Conduct useful discovery conversations, uncovering client challenges, growth ambitions and commercial objectives.
  • Develop compelling proposals, recommendations and pitch presentations in collaboration with the Managing Director and specialist teams.
  • Orchestrate the entire new business process, coordinating stakeholders and maintaining momentum across opportunities.
  • Support commercial negotiations, contracting and closing, ensuring agreements create value for both clients and the agency.

What are we looking for?

  • Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of business growth, commercial drivers and value creation.
  • Founder‑like in your approach, taking ownership, acting proactively and creating momentum without being asked.
  • Brave and confident when challenging thinking, pursuing ambitious opportunities and having difficult conversations when needed.
  • Strategic sales mindset, able to uncover deeper business challenges and position meaningful solutions – knowing how to navigate organisations to make deals happen.
  • Thrives in high‑pressure, fast‑moving environments – doesn’t give up until the deal is done.

What skills will you need?

  • Hunger for the win, demonstrating resilience, ambition and a strong desire to achieve results.
  • Incredible communication skills, building credibility and trust with all stakeholders you meet.
  • Strong commercial sense, balancing client needs, agency objectives and real value creation.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, managing multiple opportunities without dropping the ball.
  • Naturally curious and relationship‑driven, asking great questions and building meaningful connections quickly.

What does success in the role look like?

  • Unlock the massive opportunity – we have a huge ambition and aspiration for growth. You’ll be accountable for making it happen.
  • Consistently generating a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive business development activity.
  • Converting opportunities into profitable, long‑term client relationships that contribute to agency growth.
  • Being recognised by prospects as a trusted advisor who brings insight, challenge and strategic thinking.
  • Delivering an outstanding client experience throughout the sales process, from discovery to signed contract.
  • Demonstrating ownership, commercial acumen and bravery while helping shape and improve the agency’s growth function.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive compensation, reflective of your experience.
  • 25 days annual leave with bank holidays off.
  • Paid‑for learning and development opportunities.
  • Private healthcare provided by Bupa.
