Seras is the UK’s number one supplier of biomass fuel! It has long-term contracts in place to supply nearly 2 million tonnes of fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities, generating renewable energy equivalent to the annual domestic electricity needs of 2% of the UK population.

What is the job?
Join our team and make it happen! We’re recruiting for LGV Class 1 Day drivers based at our Middlesbrough location.
Collecting and delivering various products in our supply chain, you’ll be pivotal in continuing Seras success as the UK’s number one supplier of biomass fuel! We have long-term contracts in place to supply nearly 2 million tonnes of fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities, generating renewable energy equivalent to the annual domestic electricity needs of 2% of the UK population.
Working Schedule: 4on 4off Days
Please Note: Our trailer gantry has a maximum weight limit of 140kg (22st).
How we do things
- We have outstanding legal compliance.
- We treat all of our employees with dignity and respect.
- We recognise that vocational licences belong to our drivers, not the company.
- We listen to our drivers and never ask that they undertake any duty which they deem to be unsafe.
- We provide full training including our own in-house DCPC.
- We provide regular two-way briefing sessions with our drivers on matters of safety and legislation – we really do welcome your input!
- We’re always on hand to help and support you.
What we need from you
- LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Have good geographical knowledge of the UK road network
- Good understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
- Hold valid DQC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Live within 1 hour of the depot
Don’t worry if you’ve no experience of bulk work. Our driver trainers will ensure you’re comfortable with our equipment before you start!
