Our client, the UK's leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products, is looking for a motivated Trainee Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team.

Areas to cover: Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire & East Anglia
Salary: £22,568 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience + 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, access to employee health scheme, pension
You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.
You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and driving service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximises customer retention, and increases profitability.
Our ideal applicant will have/be:
- Full UK Driving License
- Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers
- Eager to learn, develop new skills and grow within a new role
- Experience within a mechanical/electrical environment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- Experienced working with roller shutters is desirable but not essential
- IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use)
- Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment
