The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join us at our manufacturing site in Wantage, Oxfordshire. As Maintenance Technician you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient running of our plant, equipment and facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement and getting involved in a wide variety of engineering tasks.

What will you be doing?
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our production processes and equipment run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment. Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs. Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimise disruption.
- Project & Engineering Support - Support engineers with installing, testing, and commissioning new equipment and upgrades. Provide technical input into improvement projects and design reviews. Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and maintenance records.
- Safety & Compliance - Work safely at all times and follow site procedures and regulatory requirements. Take part in risk assessments, permit-to-work processes, and safety improvement activities. Conduct equipment inspections and report any issues or hazards.
- Operational Support - Work closely with the operations team to improve equipment performance and reliability. Assist with planned shutdowns and maintenance activities. Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operations.

- Computer Literacy: Comfortable using CMMS systems, digital tools, and standard office applications.
