About The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join the dedicated team. You will play a key role in leading and supporting the day care team, ensuring residents receive the highest quality, person-centred care. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a welcoming, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the day care team
- Deliver high-quality dementia and residential care tailored to each resident
- Monitor residents wellbeing and respond appropriately to any changes
- Administer medication (training provided if required)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records
- Promote a calm, safe, and supportive day-time environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Medication training (advantageous but not essential)
- A caring, professional, and team-focused approach
- A genuine passion for supporting older people to live fulfilling lives
