Sussex Premier Health ward delivers elective surgical care for a wide variety of specialities, in a private healthcare setting within East Sussex Healthcare Trust on the Conquest site. The post holder will administrate the 21 bedded ward on a day to day basis, supporting staff to deliver safe high quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome, admit and discharge patients.
- Answer the telephone and communicate information to staff.
- File medical records.
- Book appointments.
- Data entry.

- Provide a safe, welcoming, courteous and efficient reception service to accommodate needs of patients, relatives, consultants and nursing staff.
Essential Criteria:
- Good general knowledge and GCSE level C/4 or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Good keyboard and computer skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience working in a health care setting.
- Experience of IT skills such as PAS/IFIT/Evolve/Nervecentre.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
