We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic member to join our Theatre Team in keeping the clinical areas spotless and tidy. The post holder will work under direction to coordinate all Hotel Services in the department and work as part of the clinical team ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained within Conquest Theatres.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Matron and Deputy Lead Practitioners to ensure service standards are met.
  • Participating in domestic duties in partnership with the department housekeeper.
  • Assisting in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards in the department and reporting to the Matron on the level of cleanliness in the area.
  • Participating in domestic monitoring where required.
  • Spot cleaning, ensuring spillages are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
  • Working with, and following guidance from the nursing team, to ensure equipment (both clinical and non-clinical) is in a clean condition and available for immediate use.
  • Upholding theatre appearance by removing clutter, waste from outside of theatres after each case is completed, and attending to storage requirements.
