Seaford Ward is an Elderly Care Ward with 27 beds, consisting of 4 x 6 bedded bays and 3 side rooms.
Role Summary
You will care for patients with multiple medical conditions, multiple medications and who often require specialist support at home or in care homes. You will also support acutely unwell patients, those with dementia or delirium, difficulties walking, falls and frailty.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients with complex medical needs
- Providing support for acutely unwell patients
- Managing patients with dementia, delirium, mobility issues, falls and frailty
- Collaborating with nursing, medical, adult social care, allied health professionals and the mental health team
- Participating in revalidation support, regular appraisals and educational courses to enhance clinical and leadership skills
