We are looking to recruit a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our friendly and supportive MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy team based in Lewes and Newhaven.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and keen to develop their skills in a healthcare setting.
You will work alongside experienced physiotherapists, supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation and helping them achieve their individual goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with patients and colleagues everyday.

- Support patients throughout their rehabilitation following injury or surgery, both one-to-one and in group exercise sessions within a gym or class environment.
- Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and, as patients progress, support them in group exercise sessions.
- Provide administrative support, coordinate local ordering processes, liaise with clinical teams, and help maintain departmental supplies and equipment.
- Support departmental health and safety activities, audits and the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
- Contribute effectively to the wider physiotherapy team.
Full training will be provided, including a competency-based framework to develop your skills in exercise progression and support to complete the Trust Care Certificate.
Strong communication skills, empathy, resilience and the ability to remain calm and adaptable in changing situations are essential, alongside a positive and proactive approach to new challenges.
