Join ESHT as a LED ST3+ Doctor in the Department of Women’s Health at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The post-holder will conduct duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at ST3+ grade as part of a multidisciplinary team approach to care within the speciality, with opportunities to work in specialised clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Work cross-site across the Trust’s hospitals and community sites.
- Deliver a shift system with an on-call frequency of 1:9, including weekends and nights.
- Provide daytime coverage in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, covering elective and emergency duties as per roster gaps.
- Attend dedicated sessions for non-clinical administrative duties, audit and CPD.
- Be managerially accountable to the Consultant educational supervisor and professionally accountable to the Division Chief.
- Agree a formal job plan with the Specialty Lead.
- Cross-cover essential services when colleagues are on leave.
