Responsibilities
- Provide administrative services to the Clinical Governance Lead.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support within the Divisional Governance Team.
- Careful use of Trust systems both manual and electronic to ensure accuracy of data; store and share information in accordance with department protocols, Trust Information Governance Policy and Data Protection Legislation.
- Use specialist systems including DATIX, IFIT, e-Searcher, Evolve, Therefore, and others as required (training will be provided if required).
- Use Microsoft Office applications.
- Work independently using knowledge and judgement to prioritise incoming requests and meet agreed timeframes.
- Answer telephone and email queries in relation to Governance.
- Provide expertise in the day‑to‑day management of patient safety incidents, input associated data, and maintain specialist electronic databases.
- Assist with provision of robust systems to ensure accurate recording of complex and sensitive meeting discussions, ensuring documents are approved and uploaded in accordance with recognised Trust processes.
- Facilitate the gathering, analysis, and presentation of clinical information and data on processes, performance and outcomes to demonstrate compliance.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement by providing support across the Division.
- Support the manager by undertaking projects and audits.
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager with regard to Health.
