The successful candidate will primarily be clinic based and will work as a Specialty Doctor within the Department of Ophthalmology in East Sussex Healthcare Trust. The role involves supporting a high‑quality outpatient ophthalmic service, including multi‑specialty clinics and urgent care. The post holder will cover duties at Conquest Hospital, Bexhill Hospital, Eastbourne District General Hospital and may be asked to work at other East Sussex Community sites. Candidates will be encouraged to develop surgical skills in the theatre in the future.
