The predicted salary is between 55355 - 64800 £ per year.

We require an enthusiastic Consultant Radiologist to join our team of 23 Substantive Consultant Radiologists. Primary location: Eastbourne DGH or Conquest Hospital Hastings, but this may change depending on service need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a high level of clinical experience and competence in General Radiology.
  • Develop subspecialty areas of interest and participate in the development of Radiology services.
  • Teach and support four radiology trainees on rotation from HEKSS deanery.
  • Engage in audit and other continuing professional development activities.
  • Provide first‑line on‑call cover: SpR/specialty doctor radiologists until 10 pm weekdays and 5 pm weekends, with overnight outsourcing to a reporting company.
  • Check scans the following day to ensure quality assurance and education on a 1‑in‑8 rota.
  • Provide daytime cover for malignant cord compression MRI at weekends on the same 1‑in‑8 rota.

Qualifications

  • Full GMC registration.
