About this Role Teacher of Music / Head of Music – Full‑time, Permanent. Salary: £34,298 – £52,490 (Fringe) /+ TLR2A £3,527 Recruitment and retention bonus will be available for exceptional candidates. Start date: September 2026. (Exceptional ECTs are welcome to apply.)

We are seeking an inspirational Teacher of Music / Head of Music who brings passion, creativity, and ambition to the classroom. The successful candidate will engage and inspire students across KS3 and KS4, and contribute to a dynamic and evolving music curriculum.

We create a bespoke induction plan for all new staff, shape it with their input based on their experience, strengths and aims. All teachers receive an additional hour every fortnight of protected PPA, totalling 6 hours for a full‑time teacher. The school offers a 2‑week October half‑term, free gym use (with shower facilities), ample on‑site parking, a laptop (tablet with pen and laptop all in one) and a full Microsoft Office package. The staff body is vibrant and social.
