Overall Objective:
Control of all day-to-day activities on civil engineering (plot works) schemes
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure full compliance with contractual requirements and Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems
- Assess the environmental impact and risks connected to projects
- Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements
- Ensure technical compliance and the safety of all operational activities
- Monitor progress against programme, take off and call off materials in advance of work
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
- Prepare detailed weekly lookahead programmes
- Schedule and manage resources to deliver site works
- Provide accurate records and measurement details to enable the Quantity Surveyor to prepare monthly valuations
- Support the planning, design and management of projects
- Manage information flow and identify technical queries
- Ensure exceptional levels of customer care

Experience & Qualifications:
- CSCS card – minimum gold standard
- Experience working in plot sector of new build projects/sites
- 5 day Site Managers Safety certificate
- Experience of civil engineering scheme of values £100k – £4million
- First aid at work certificate desirable
- Full clean UK driving licence
