ESG Drysdale is seeking an organised, proactive, and professional Labour Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across the business.

This varied role supports the management team, employees, and site operations through the effective coordination of administration, recruitment administration, onboarding, payroll administration, compliance, employee support, accommodation management, and transport coordination.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating operational activities, and ensuring employees receive efficient support throughout their employment.

A significant aspect of the role involves coordinating the administration of two on‑site accommodation sites occupied by Seasonal Agricultural Worker Scheme (SAWS) employees.

Responsibilities include supporting employee welfare, monitoring accommodation standards, coordinating transport requirements, and liaising with the Engineering Team to ensure maintenance issues are reported, monitored, and resolved promptly.

This position requires a flexible and hands‑on approach, with the ability to respond to changing operational priorities.

The successful candidate will participate in an evening and weekend on‑call rota to support urgent labour, accommodation, transport, and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management team and operational departments.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, onboarding, employee records, and labour documentation.
  • Support payroll preparation and maintain accurate employee information.
  • Assist with labour coordination, employee communications, and operational reporting.
  • Administer and coordinate the company’s on‑site worker accommodation, including inspections, welfare support, and maintenance reporting.
  • Coordinate transport arrangements for seasonal workers, including airport transfers, medical appointments, and other operational travel requirements.
  • Maintain training, compliance, and operational documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments to ensure operational issues are managed and resolved efficiently.
  • Participate in the evening and weekend on‑call rota as required.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate

  • Previous experience in administration, labour coordination, accommodation management, or operational support.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and workforce management systems.
  • The ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience of payroll administration, workforce management systems, or accommodation coordination would be advantageous but is not essential.
