The ETL Developer is responsible for the execution of migration loads for client Dry Runs, Dress Rehearsals & Go Lives as part of system implementation or transformation projects. ESG projects vary in size and complexity according to the solution being implemented, ranging from small projects and work requests to multi-year industry change programmes. While the role operates within core working hours, as this is client-facing, there will be requirements to provide support during evenings or weekends for specific delivery projects or events.
Position Responsibilities
- Executing data loads for Client migration Dry Runs, Dress Rehearsals & System Go Lives.
- Creation, conversion and maintenance of scripts of migration complexity
- Input into maintain documentation for ETL processes and data mappings
- Supporting multiple inflight client migration projects
- Supporting the Monitoring & troubleshooting of migration failures
- Implementing data quality checks & validation rules
- Collaborating with internal colleagues (Product & Migration)
- Infrequently supporting ad hoc client migration discussions (where required)
Experience
- Minimum 2 Years’ experience in ETL Developer / Migrations roles
- Previous experience in the Energy Industry is highly desirable

- Knowledge and experience of the UK Retail Energy sector (Elec & Gas)
- Experience of continuous improvement in migration projects
