ESG Drysdale are recruiting for a multi skilled engineer join our existing factory team. The role is based at our Drysdale Quarry packing facility in Cockburnspath, Scottish Borders

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for reactive and planned preventative maintenance of the machinery in the factory as part of the existing engineering team.

You will need to contribute to ongoing improvement plans as well as project and installation works.

This is a multiskilled role that will involve mechanical & electrical fault finding and working on a wide range of food washing, grading and packing equipment.

  • Ideally a fully qualified multiskilled engineer with predominantly electrical knowledge.
  • Completed 18th edition electrical qualification.
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Keen to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude.

About The Job

  • 4 on 4 off working schedule.
  • Shift – 06:00-18:00 – these may vary over the three week peak period at Christmas.
  • Annual salary starting from £39,000 pa increasing with completion of in-house training and development programme up to £48,000 pa.
  • 236.5 hours holiday per year.
