Due to continued business growth, ESG Drysdale is looking to expand our farming team at our Skateraw site. ESG Drysdale is one of the UK’s largest growers and processors of fresh vegetables, supplying high-quality produce nationwide. Based on the east coast of Scotland, our Cockburnspath operation offers the opportunity to work in a busy, well-established, and professional agricultural environment.

We are currently recruiting two experienced Tractor Drivers to support our vegetable-growing operations. This is a hands-on role involving the operation and basic maintenance of tractors and associated farm machinery throughout the growing season.

Responsibilities
  • Operating Tractors And Farm Machinery For Field preparation
  • Planting
  • Harvesting
  • General farm operations
  • Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance to ensure machinery remains in good working order
  • Assisting with irrigation, fertilisation, and crop protection activities
  • Working collaboratively as part of a wider farming team to meet production schedules
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Previous experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends and longer hours during peak periods
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team
  • A practical, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
