We’re now looking for an experienced Senior Manager, PR & Communications to lead our communications strategy, strengthen our reputation, and elevate our voice across media, public affairs, and industry platforms.
The Senior Manager of PR & Communications at ESET plays a critical role in shaping and protecting the company’s public image while driving awareness of ESET’s cybersecurity technologies and solutions. This position leads the development and execution of strategic PR and communications initiatives, manages media and public affairs, and oversees crisis communication in alignment with company guidelines.
As a senior leader, you will manage both external and internal communication channels, collaborate closely with global and local stakeholders, and lead the PR & Communications team to deliver measurable impact. You will also serve as a key media spokesperson and trusted advisor to senior management, representing ESET with confidence across media, government, and industry platforms.
- What you’ll do
- Own and deliver ESET’s PR & Communications strategy in close partnership with Global PR
- Lead media relations, public affairs, and crisis communications in line with company guidelines
- Act as a primary media spokesperson, supporting executive leadership with interviews and external engagements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, industry bodies, and government stakeholders
- Oversee internal and external communications channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice
- Create and approve high‑quality content including press releases, opinion pieces, articles, blogs, and statements
- Manage PR agencies, social media communications, and media monitoring activities
- Plan and deliver PR and media events, conferences, and webinars
- Represent ESET at industry associations, trade bodies, and public forums
- Produce insightful qualitative and quantitative PR performance reports
- Leadership & team management
- Lead, coach, and develop the PR & Communications team
- Set clear objectives, manage performance, and support professional development
- Drive continuous improvement of processes, planning, and ways of working
- Manage budgets and support financial planning for PR activities
10+ years’ experience in PR & Communications, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial role. Strong media relations background and spokesperson experience. Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience across B2B and B2C communications. Ability to translate complex technical or cybersecurity topics into clear, engaging messages. Experience working with external agencies and senior stakeholders. Fluent English and advanced MS Office skills. Background in technology or cybersecurity is highly desirable.
Working pattern
3 days per week on‑site at our Bournemouth office.
